Getting started.

Create your account and sign in with your work email.

What is Whodini?

Whodini is an AI research assistant for pharma recruiters. It explains the drugs, therapies, and companies behind a candidate’s experience, helps you find the right companies to source from, and shows you where a candidate’s timeline overlaps with the stage you’re hiring for. It works in the Whodini web application and, with the browser extension, directly on LinkedIn and LinkedIn Recruiter.

How do I sign up or sign in?

Go to the Whodini sign-in page and enter your work email. We’ll email you a 6-digit code; enter it and you’re in. The same steps create your account the first time, and there’s no password to set.

Is Whodini free?

Yes. Whodini is free to use today, with no credit card required. We may introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice before anything changes.

Why do I need a work email?

Whodini is built for recruiting and hiring professionals, so accounts use a work email. Any company address works, including agency and consulting firm addresses. Personal and disposable addresses, like Gmail, Outlook.com, Yahoo, or iCloud, can’t be used to sign up.

What if I can’t use a work email?

Email support@whodini.ai from the address you’d like to use, with a line about your work, and we’ll help you get access.

I didn’t get my sign-in code. What should I do?

Check your spam or junk folder, and any quarantine your company uses for automated email. If the address was wrong, go back and fix it. After 45 seconds you can request a new code; always use the newest one. If you see “Too many requests,” wait 10 minutes and try again. Still nothing? Your company’s email filter may be blocking us, so ask IT to allow email from Whodini, or write to support@whodini.ai.

Do I have to enter my LinkedIn credentials?

No. Whodini never asks for your LinkedIn password and doesn’t connect to your LinkedIn account. The browser extension reads the page you already have open, and Search in Recruiter opens LinkedIn Recruiter in your own browser.

Using the web application.

Research the market, review candidates, and keep each search organized.

How do I research drugs and companies?

Open Drugs or Companies in the web app. Search by name, or use the Filter button to narrow the list: phase, therapeutic area, modality, target, and more for drugs, or type, size, headquarters, and therapeutic area for companies. Select any row to open its insights, such as a drug’s approvals, indications, and target, or a company’s financials and drugs.

Can I upload a resume or review a LinkedIn profile?

Yes to both. Bring a resume or profile into Whodini, and every drug and company on it is highlighted and explained, with prior names matched to current ones. With the browser extension, you can get the same insights right on a candidate’s LinkedIn or LinkedIn Recruiter profile.

What resume files can I upload?

PDF or DOCX files, up to 5 MB. Upload them in People, with or without the person’s LinkedIn profile URL. If Whodini can’t find a LinkedIn profile, upload the resume instead.

What can Ask Whodini answer?

Ask Whodini (beta) answers pharma questions in plain language: what a drug or pipeline code is, who’s developing what, which companies fit a hiring brief, and what to ask a hiring manager or candidate. Paste a LinkedIn profile URL to ask about a candidate’s experience; Whodini also adds the profile to People. You can’t attach a resume in Ask yet, so paste its text into your question. To see the drugs and companies a resume mentions, upload it in People.

Can I search LinkedIn Recruiter from Whodini?

Yes. In Drugs or Companies, select the rows you want and choose Search in Recruiter. LinkedIn Recruiter opens in a new tab with those companies or drug names already in the search, or you can copy the Boolean string instead. You’ll need your own LinkedIn Recruiter account, and very large selections can go past LinkedIn’s search limits.

What are Projects?

Projects keep the people, drugs, and companies for each search in one place. Create one per job req and add to it from the Drugs, Companies, and People lists or from Ask Whodini. Your account starts with a sample GLP-1 project to explore.

The browser extension.

Pharma insights on LinkedIn and the other websites you visit.

Is the browser extension required?

No. The Whodini web application works on its own, and you can use it to ask questions, build target lists, and review resumes and profiles. The Whodini browser extension is optional. It brings the same drug and company insights directly onto LinkedIn and LinkedIn Recruiter profiles, so you can screen without switching tabs.

Which browsers does Whodini work in?

Use a current version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on a computer. The web app also opens in other modern browsers, but the browser extension needs Chrome or Edge. Safari, Firefox, and phones can’t run the extension.

How do I install the extension?

Open Whodini in the Chrome Web Store (opens in a new tab). In Chrome, click Add to Chrome. In Microsoft Edge, click Get, and allow extensions from other stores if Edge asks. Then click the Whodini icon in your toolbar and sign in with your work email and a code; the extension signs in separately from the web app. If you don’t see the icon, open the browser’s Extensions menu and pin Whodini.

“Add to Chrome” is missing or grayed out. What should I do?

Make sure you’re using Chrome or Edge on a computer. In Edge, the button says Get. If it’s grayed out or says it’s blocked by your administrator, your company controls which extensions can be installed: ask your IT team to approve Whodini from the Chrome Web Store, or email support@whodini.ai and we’ll help. In the meantime, everything else works in the web app.

How do I know the extension is working?

Click the Whodini icon in your toolbar and check that you’re signed in and Enable Whodini is on. On a page that mentions drugs or pharma companies, such as a LinkedIn profile, “Whodini is making magic” appears briefly, then the names Whodini recognizes are highlighted. Hover over a highlight for a summary, or click it for the full insight. Nothing highlighted? Refresh the page, especially tabs you opened before installing, and check which websites Whodini is set to work on.

Which websites does the extension work on?

Most websites you visit, including LinkedIn and LinkedIn Recruiter profiles, research abstracts, patent pages, press releases, industry newsletters, and company websites. It doesn’t run on whodini.ai, on browser pages like settings or the extension store, inside PDFs opened in the browser, or inside content embedded from other sites. To use it only on LinkedIn, click the Whodini icon, open Settings, and choose LinkedIn only. The Enable Whodini switch pauses highlighting anytime.

Does Whodini store my LinkedIn searches or the profiles I view?

Whodini doesn’t read what you type into LinkedIn’s search box, and profiles you browse aren’t added to your account. A profile is saved only when you add it yourself in People or Ask Whodini, and you can delete it anytime. To find drug and company names, the extension sends the text of the page you’re viewing to Whodini; we don’t save that text to your account. Our product analytics do record the public LinkedIn profile pages you open while the extension is installed, along with the drug and company names Whodini finds on them, but not the rest of the page.

Data and feedback.

What Whodini covers, how it stays current, and how to tell us when something’s off.

Explore our data
What information does Whodini cover?

Whodini covers 15,000+ drugs and 10,000+ companies, including therapeutic areas, modalities, clinical trial phases, FDA approvals, competitors, and company financials. The data is trusted and verified, with prior names for drugs and companies matched to current ones so older resumes and profiles still make sense. It’s updated regularly.

How often is the data updated?

We refresh our sources regularly and add new ones over time. Updates aren’t instant, so a very recent approval, trial, or acquisition can take a little while to appear. If something looks missing or out of date, use thumbs down on the insight or email support@whodini.ai.

How do I give feedback on a drug or company?

Look for “Is this information helpful?” on any drug or company insight, in the web app or the extension, and choose thumbs up or thumbs down. With thumbs down you can say whether information is wrong or missing and add a note for our team. You can rate Ask Whodini answers the same way, and choose Share Feedback in the web app’s sidebar for anything else.

How do I tell you about a drug or company Whodini didn’t recognize?

In the browser extension, select the name on the page, right-click it (Control-click on a Mac), and choose “Suggest adding to Whodini.” In the web app, choose Share Feedback in the sidebar, or email support@whodini.ai with the name and where you saw it.

Using Whodini with a team, and what happens to your data.

Read our privacy policy
Can my team use Whodini?

Yes. Everyone on your team can sign up free with their own work email. Each account is personal, so your projects, people, and Ask Whodini conversations can’t be shared with teammates yet. If your company needs an IT or security review, or you’d like a walkthrough for your team, email support@whodini.ai.

How does Whodini handle my data?

Your people, resumes, projects, and Ask Whodini conversations belong to your account and can’t be shared with other users. We don’t sell your data. For the details, read our Privacy Policy or email privacy@whodini.ai.

Can I get a copy of my data?

There’s no export button yet. Email privacy@whodini.ai and we’ll send you a copy of your people, projects, and conversations.

How do I delete my data or close my account?

You can delete people, along with their resumes, and projects anytime in the web app. To close your account, email support@whodini.ai from your account’s address, and we’ll delete it and everything in it. Ask Whodini conversations can’t be deleted in the app yet, so email us to have them removed, whether or not you close your account.

Still need help?

Email us and a person on our team will get back to you. Want a walkthrough for you or your team? Ask for a demo in the same email.
